Every piece is handmade in Nepal, in Label STEP certified ateliers using traditional Tibetan knotting techniques passed down through generations. Raw materials come from rural areas — Himalayan wool from Mustang highlands, nettle from forest valleys — then travel to Kathmandu where skilled artisans hand-knot each piece over weeks.

Learn more about our Craftsmanship.

Our current collections use 100% Himalayan wool from high-altitude sheep. This wool develops natural water resistance and vibrant color depth due to the harsh mountain conditions. The extreme altitude creates fiber with natural resilience — high resistance yet soft to touch.

Yes, particularly pieces using nettle fiber. Nettle has a firm texture that resists wear and sheds less than wool, making it ideal for high-traffic spaces. Himalayan wool also holds up beautifully with proper care — its natural resilience comes from harsh mountain conditions. Both materials develop character over time rather than simply showing wear.

Absolutely. Every piece can be made to your exact dimensions. Whether you need a standard size adjusted or completely custom proportions, we'll create it specifically for your space. Our Size Guide can help you determine the right dimensions for your room layout and furniture.

Vacuum weekly using gentle suction. For stains, blot immediately with a damp (not wet) white towel — never rub. Use minimal water and wool-safe detergent if needed. For deeper cleaning, take your piece to specialists familiar with natural fiber rugs. Natural materials age beautifully with proper care.
